I'm Tom Most, a sophomore majoring in Software Engineering and Computer Science (’11). I’m the Vice President of the LUG as well as the Secretary of the Robotics Team, webmaster of the Rose Thorn, and also the guy that did this site’s design. (If this page looks like a regular MediaWiki page, go to your preferences page and change the skin to “Tom.”) I also did the club's T-shirt design.
I run Linux full-time, generally Ubuntu or something Debian-based.

- Jame
- Ubuntu 8.04 Server
- An old Dell P4 system that hosts the development version of the Thorn's web site and other web development stuff. Also a file server.
- Aorist
- Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop
- Athlon 64 2400+ or so. 2×Seagate 500 GB hard disks. Desktop and file server. Dual monitors.
- York
- Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop (with XP around in dual-boot and virtualized forms for when the painful is necessary)
- York is my Rose laptop (’07 HP Compaq nw8440). My window manager is awesome, because tiling is awesome. However, it's version 2.3, since completely rewriting my configuration file is not awesome.
- Blueteen
- Internet Tablet OS 2006 Edition (Debian-derived Linux)
- My Nokia 770 tablet, mainly used for self-organization and e-book reading. It’s paired with a Bluetooth keyboard literally ten times its size, which I find quite amusing. Now, if I could just get it to connect to RHIT-1X…
All of my computers are named after characters from Terror Island, a wonderful webcomic populated entirely by gamepieces.
