DHCP Registration

Normally you can go through the DHCP registration process using a graphical web browser. However, if you are configuring a system without a desktop environment, you can't really run Firefox--you're stuck with text mode browsers like Lynx and Links. This is a bit of a problem because the first page of the form that you encounter is dependent on JavaScript. Specifically, JavaScript is used to make a link, wrapped around an image, perform as a submit button (yes, this is inane). IAIT has indicated that it is impossible for them to fix this page as it is generated by a DHCP appliance that they use.

To bypass this field, visit the following URL:

 https://dna.rose-hulman.edu/cgi-bin/dispatcher.cgi?__action__=pre_auth_user

This will give you a normal Kerberos authentication form. After that, you're done.

Alternatively, you can spoof the MAC address of the unregistered machine using a machine that has a GUI. The MAC address can then be registered as usual.
